Screenplay Coverage
Experience and Empathy
Jessica Ellis has been writing script coverage since 2009. From a launching point as an intern with E-Squared Entertainment, Jessica is now the primary reader for GTB, the Ford Motor Company's entertainment wing. Since 2021, Jessica has also been a freelance reader for The Blacklist, as well as an alumni reader for the screenwriting program at her Alma Mater, AFI. She works with writers at all levels.

Jessica believes in a comprehensive approach to screenplay coverage. Her goal is to comprehend what the writer is trying to accomplish, and try to help them further understand and achieve their own aims. She loves to be a cheerleader for other writers, with a keen eye for the big picture.

Jessica's rates for coverage are as follows:

Feature: $200
Pilot: $100
All projects for returning clients: $100

Ellis has cleared out a space where almost nothing but the central friendship matters. Everything else in the young women’s lives is connected to that, but doesn’t define it.
